POLL: Anyone else not able to view 3D movies?

January 28th, 2012 • 3D MovieNo Comments »

Yes. My cousin had a lazy eye when we were little. To this day, he has no depth perception, so he has a terrible time with 3-D films. the especially stinks because he and his 8 1/2-year-old tomboy daughter love to watch movies like "Transformers." 6 months ago I love those types of movies too, it's a bit disapointing.

Am I the only person who has problems with watching 3d movies because the glasses are too dark?

January 28th, 2012 • 3D MovieNo Comments »

- Chosen by Voters that's just one of the problems with 3D. it makes the movie darker and the colors less vibrant. they haven't solved the problem yet, and it's an argument against seeing movies in 3D at all. Avatar is the only movie I've seen that didn't have a noticeable problem with the movie being darker. 2 years ago 100% 1 Vote

Could someone answer this question about post-production for 3D movies?

January 27th, 2012 • 3D MovieNo Comments »

- Chosen by Voters I had the opportunity to go to Technicolor in Hollywood so I got to see a little bit of their process. Yes, you do need to have the finished movie first then convert it to 3D. The reason why is if you were to convert to 3D and you decided to make a revision. You would not be able to make a revision through the dual projections so you would have to go back to the previous step and reconvert it. (which of course costs a @#$% load of money) 8 months ago 100% 1 Vote

With the right eye I don't see any detail! Who that affects me when I watch 3D movies?

January 27th, 2012 • 3D MovieNo Comments »

Your English is pretty good. I have a similar problem. I have strabismus and very different prescriptions in each eye. Right eye -.5 left eye plano -1.75 axis 40. I never get the full 3D effects when I watch a 3D movie. 3D movies require good stereoscopic vision which it sounds like you do not have. I know I do not have it either. I do think there is anything that you can really do about it as an adult, but you may want to check with eye doctor about it. I checked with mine and there was nothing that could be done for me.Sorry I know this is not a solution, but I wanted you to know. 2 years ago Thank you. I've search on the internet and I've understood how 3D movie's work… It is no way that I will get the full 3D effect but I can still see something. Thank you again is good to know that I'm not the only one that have this problem.
